PurpleRide Twin Cities 2008 a Huge Success!

PurpleRide 2008 was an amazing success with 1085 riders, 150 volunteers, and over $370,000 raised and counting! This grassroots effort, which is 100% volunteer run, is a success because of the countless hours of hard work, energy and passion of our Core Team. We want to thank this amazing group of volunteers!

We thank all of you who have supported this ride through prayers, donations, volunteering and riding. We hope that being involved in this event is a healing way for your to honor your loved ones who have been affected by this disease.

We look forward to riding with you again next year!

About the Event

PurpleRide Twin Cities is an annual fundraiser for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and a day of family fun. The ride consists of 8-, 25-, or 50-mile well-supported bike routes at Elm Creek Regional Park in Maple Grove, Minnesota. At the end of the ride, all participants enjoy lunch, many family activities, a raffle drawing, and ceremonies celebrating our fundraisers. All funds raised go to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to raise money for the fight against pancreatic cancer, the 4th leading cause of cancer death in the United States.

PurpleRide Twin Cities is run 100% by local volunteers, which means more money goes directly to the fight against pancreatic cancer. If you'd like to volunteer to be on the Core Planning Team, or to find out how to become a corporate sponsor for next year, please contact us.
