Fees

Individual Riders

  • Registration is free: Apr. 1 - July 31
  • $15 registration fee: Aug. 1 - Sept. 7
  • Online registration closes at noon on Sept. 7 until the day of the event
  • $125 day-of registration fee ($25 registration fee which includes $100 minimum pledge)

All participating riders are required to register, regardless of age. A free lunch is offered to all present on Sept. 13. Riders under 18 years of age DO NOT need to meet the minimum fundraising requirement. Children in burleys do not need to register. You will have a choice of purchasing a t-shirt for $10.

Teams

There is no extra registration fee to set up a team.

Fundraising Requirements

In addition to the registration fee, each rider must commit to raising at least $100 for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. If you form a team, each rider must average $100 on your team. (For example, a team of 10 must commit to bringing in $1000 together.)

Once registered, each rider will be able to create an online fundraising page with tips and tools for raising money. Each team will also have their own fundraising page, which connects to individual rider pages.

Although our minimum requirement was to raise $100 last year, the average rider raised $250! To reach our goals this year, we are strongly encouraging each rider to bring in at least $300. With the tips and tools we will provide you on your fundraising page, it will be easy!

Forming Teams

We strongly encourage team participation! Get friends, family or co-workers to form a team and let the competition begin! Whether you form a team or ride solo, each rider over 18 must raise $100 to ride. (For example, a team of 10 must commit to bringing in $1000 together.) You will be asked if you want to form a team at the time of registration, but if you decide after registering to form or join a team, you can certainly do so. Every team will have a fundraising page, which connects to your individual rider pages, so you can see your team total increase!

Rider Incentive Prizes

Raise a minimum of $400
Receive a Pancreatic Cancer Action Network captain’s chair! Handy for camping, sporting events, the beach or a barbecue, this captain’s chair provides comfort and durability. It even includes two mesh cup holders! It folds into a handy carrying case so you can tote it along with you!
Raise a minimum of $800
In addition to the captain's chair, receive a Pancreatic Cancer Action Network cooler backpack! The backpack includes an insulated pouch that can carry up to 10 cans as well as lots of pockets for tucking away everything you need for a picnic. The straps are adjustable and the backpack features our embroidered logo.
Raise a minimum of $1,200
In addition to the chair and backpack, receive a special club edition PurpleRide Twin Cities 2009 commemorative bike Jersey.
